The BerrieHill Research Division of ARA is playing a vital role in the semiconductor industry’s efforts to keep legacy systems in aircraft, ships and other vital military equipment functional by preventing the use of counterfeit chips in integrated circuitry.


The company’s Columbus, Ohio, facility has been charged with critical work in trusted microelectronics, to develop reliable statistical algorithms and test methods for identifying the integrity of chips being sold as replacements for original equipment.

In addition, ARA-BerrieHill performs semiconductor materials research, chip design and builds simple integrated circuits for antennas, control panels and more.
